CURLING LINING MACHINE
Machine with three stations mod. S 945 / CM / 3T able to rivet externally the lip of the ring, to curl the flange to be seam and to apply compound. The machine is made of a steel structure, where are installed three operating heads :
- The first station performs the precurl on the lip by means of spin head;
- The second station performs the riveting of the lip on the ring by means of a mechanical press operation;
- The third station performs the curling and lining operation.
The rings coming from the press are stacked in a proper destacker. One ring a time is feed to the working plane in phase with the step by step carriage. The rings feeding to the operating heads is made by a transfer carriage with mechanical parallel shaft indexer. The chuck lifting and the curling roller feeding are mechanically connected to the transfer carriage motorization. Frequency convertors for the carriage motor drive and motors for the chuck rotation allow to change its speed. The contrast chuck, on the lining station and the precurl station, are installed on arms which have to be lifted up manually in case of intervention. The upper part of second station is lifted up, in case of intervention, by a motorized device commanded from the touch screen. The compound is distributed on the ring by one pneumatic gun; the quantity is controlled by a group of cams and sensors. The machine is provided with a manual pump for the lubrication of the parts in movement.
